General Information

As one of the very few locations in the German-speaking region, FAU offers study programs in the still young research field of Digital Humanities. These were supported by the program „Digitaler Campus Bayern“ and are closely connected within the framework of the Campus Network techné with LMU Munich and the University of Regensburg.

Three different study programs are offered:

• The dual-subject program Digital Humanities and Social Sciences, which can be taken without admission requirements either as a primary or secondary subject and leads to a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree,
• the subsequent master’s program Digital Humanities
• as well as the modular study program Digital Humanities.
