Studying Digital Humanities and Social Studies

The department is responsible for the DHSS degree programs at FAU. These include the Bachelor’s degree program in Digital Humanities and Social Studies and the Master’s degree program in Digital Humanities.

Both programs are system accredited.

DHSS in minor and applied subject

In addition, there are many other ways to study the content of DHSS. These range from a focus on digitization to subject-specific majors. For this, we play minor subject modules in many bachelor and master programs. In addition, you can also take Digital Humanities as an application subject in Data Science.

Interested in a certificate from DHSS?

The Digital Humanities module studies at FAU offer the opportunity to acquire subject-specific basics and practical application knowledge in the field of digital humanities and social sciences and to complete them with a certificate. They are therefore also perfectly suited for post-qualification for the MA program in Digital Humanities.

Students of all disciplines, prospective students, professionals and senior citizens can enrol in the module studies. Participants in the two-semester module studies are regularly enrolled students.
