New at DHSS: Dr. Marianna Gracheva
We are delighted to share that Dr. Marianna Gracheva has joined the DHSS as a Research Associate!
Marianna holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from Northern Arizona University. Her research lies in corpus linguistics, and her main focus is on linguistic and communicative variation among texts. Marianna’s other projects include applications of corpus linguistic methods to stylistics, lexical semantics, and discourse pragmatics.
Her work appears in Scientific Study of Literature, Register Studies, Applied Corpus Linguistics, Applied Pragmatics and Corpus Linguistics and Linguistic Theory.
Marianna serves as Associate Editor of the international peer-reviewed journal Register Studies.
