We are delighted that Professor Michaela Mahlberg is joining DHSS as Professor of Digital Humanities and new Head of Department. Michaela holds a Humboldt Professorship, Germany’s most valuable international research award. She joins FAU from the University of Birmingham, where she was Professor of Corpus Linguistics. Prior to that, she was Professor of English Language and Linguistics at the University of Nottingham and held positions at the University of Liverpool, Liverpool Hope University College and the University of Bari in Italy.
